Portraits
The term Portrait Photograph may bring with it certain preconceived ideas of what that entails.
Traditionally it was a fairly formal pose usually in a studio with everyone in their Sunday best looking at the camera and screaming “ cheese” .
Whilst formal portraits are still popular , things have moved on and people want the image not only to be a natural and physical likeness but also to make a statement about who they are and the lifestyle that they have adopted. Some Photographers refer to Lifestyle separately but for simplicity we bracket them all together.
It can be as simple as wearing the shirt of your favourite football, taking part in a hobby , interacting as part of a family – the choice is varied.
It can be one person, a family (including pets)or even a group of friends . It can be a babe in arms, a child, a growing teenager, proud Mum and Dad, Gran and Grandad – the possibilities are endless.
There is total flexibility with not only a studio but also a portable studio which, within reason, can be set up at a location of your choice.
Increasingly people like the outdoor shots in an environment which says as much about them as the way they are dressed. Besides which it is not easy to get 2 dogs , a cat, goat and 3 guinea pigs into a studio.
There are no hard and fast rules about anything that I do and I am happy to consider any reasonable request.

PRICES
All figures quoted below are guide prices and do not constitute a quotation. We reserve the right to vary the prices. To be certain of a price - please ask for a written quotation.
Sitting Fee
We charge just £50 for Portrait / lifestyle work and for that you get a minimum 2 hours Photography and a minimum of 40 high quality images . That can be at a venue of your choice* or in our studio.
In the event that we do not reach the 40 images within the 2 hours ( eg. poor weather) , we will give you the option of continuing until we do so- or postponing for improved conditions.
*no extra charge for venues within reasonable distance of studio.
Options
a high quality /resolution dvd of the edited images for £150
Purchase a dvd of the shoot for watching on your TV- with musical accompaniment for £45. Note that you will not be able to download the pictures from this dvd.
A family storybook of 10 pages- 20 sides – 10” x10” for £225.

There are so many options here that it is difficult to provide an advisory note except to say that all are tailor-made from quality suppliers at competitive prices. Please provide size of requested image for definite quotation
Commissions
Pricing is as above except for the guarantee of 40 images. The minimum charge is for 2 hours but each hour over and above is quoted pro-rata based on £25 an hour.
