Christmas Specials…
November 29, 2009
are going well with some really nice shoots.
Some of the pictures being taken are Christmas pressies and I have promised that i wont post them here until after Santa has called.
Having said that, this shot of Josh and Elly May is so cute that I couldnt resist and mum, Anna wont mind . Having said that , poor Josh had a stinking cold but he smiled all the way through .

Christmas Specials….
November 19, 2009
…we have decided to have our offers before Christmas- when you most need it rather than afterwards.
We are making ourselves more accessible and more convenient to you by setting up our portable studio in various locations throughout Devon.
Not only that but the cost of a photograph means that a Christmas Portrait should be in everyone’s price range and make Christmas 2009 one that will be remembered for years to come .
For more details , see the dedicated page here
Christmas portraits ..

are such a lovely personal gift. They are a unique snapshot of a particular time and will surely outlast anything else that you may find its way in Father Christmas’ sack.
The image that follows is for grandparents in Italy who so loved the photographs that we shot from last year that they have asked for more.
This particular one was taken in a studio but i have a full range of portable lights and backgrounds that enables me to get the same type of shot from your front room

its such a great feeling ….

…when people dramatically increase their original order. It means that the reality is so much better than their initial expectation.
When I quote for any new business , the customer is buying a concept of how it will be and what the photographs will look like . To hear how ” wonderful” the photographs are and that a wedding customer is ordering 4 times the original number of Photographs – gives such a buzz.
When a client who wanted a single photograph decides to buy 7 to ” solve all my Christmas present issues” – you realise that you are getting it right.
I do love this ” work”.
PS- Just heard that I have a photograph going into an International Magazine on a 2 page spread
When Mike and Laonie ….
November 6, 2009
……. decided to marry there was only ever going to be one venue, the beautiful church of St John the Baptist in Marldon, a village in which Laonie spent much of her childhood. The Reverand Peter Bellenes knows her family well and felt it very fitting that this was his last formal service before his retirement .

The service was a personal comittment of love between 2 special people with Laonies daughter Lydia as flower girl and William as ring bearer.

The reception was held at the excellent Bickley Mill who provided a first class service and nothing was too much trouble.
Laonie gave a speach which literally hypnotised the audience and took them back in time, whilst Mike – who admitted to having mislaid his original notes , responded off the cuff with some heartfelt thanks and personal comittments to his new family.

Congratulations to you all and may you live happily ever after.

came to the studio for a shoot and its fair to say they were a little apprehensive as they didnt know what to expect.
Later on they left and thanked me for having such a fun time.
Not only that but we got some great photos as well.
